EDGAR is back from the shop. A new stock clutch installed and an overhaul of the engine head was done. Honestly the car lost its personality. Now it feels common, quite and refined… But those arent bad, really. Ive gotten so used to its wild side, being tame would need some getting used to. Still have to break in the new clutch for 300km. After that, the “rediscovering” will begin. Maybe the phrase “nasa loob ang kulo” would hopefully best discribe his current state after the break in.
Major bad vibes has hit the Lucero brothers. We just got word that EDGAR has suffered some wear and tear problems and needs some fixing. It sucks that such a small part require changing the whole engine head to prevent any further problems.
Recently a flapping valve noise appeared together with a sliding clutch. Diagnosis: worn out clutch disc assembly and a faulty valve lifter. Plan: Change the clutch and the that valve lifter. However, to change the fuckin’ lifter we had to order a whole set of the engine head because no one would sell the lifters alone. Aside form that, changing the head require changing the head gasket and it just so happened that the driveshaft oil seal is shot. MORE REPAIRS. Now we are down and out and low on cash. We still have to figure out how to get a hefty part of the payment. Jesus fuckin Christ.
Only one this is for sure now. No matter how much it costs, the moment I get my hands on that 4wd beast, I’m sure its gonna put a smile on my face.
