Cooked dinner for my family and friends tonight. Dishes that I’ve tried over the week and improved on for tonights randomness.
Tonight we had beef bourguignon, Dori L’ Huile D’ Olive and truffled mushroom risotto. It was exceptionally good and bursting with flavor today because my equipment was more than adequate.
At the end of the meal, my dad led a toast for a job well done; a first in my humble and amateur culinary hobby.
What i love about cooking is the reaction you can evoke from the people close to you. Just like curing a patient, cooking something good for a friend or a family member gives unrivaled satisfaction.
